There’s been a name round these here parts, name of a man who draws. The legend has been growing and the shadow he casts just keeps on flowing and he’s got a really awesome first name. His name is Stegman, Ryan Stegman.
Sorry, just thought that would be funny. But seriously, the name of Ryan Stegman has been growing larger in comic circles and now he’s been granted the ever-elusive, oft-pined for Marvel Contract Exclusive. He’s on a hot new secret project but we thought we should look back on how and why he’s earned such a prestigious honour.
It’s been a relatively short road for Stegman as he’s worked the smaller titles (such as the recent Sif one-shot) and is now, already, big time news at Marvel. Let’s have a look over some of his work and see if he really is as good as the big wigs want us to think. I've assembled some of his pages, in pencil, so let's see what to make of it.
