Matt Wisniewski’s mixed media collage portraits have been making rounds online these days, simply because they are too colorful and visually impressive to be ignored. The artist’s work is multi-textured and complex, yet without bearing down too hard on the viewer or assaulting them with their presence. Young Matt was born in 1990 in Philadelphia, PA and works as a web-designer, or as the description on his personal website reads, “Hello. My name is Matt. I make things work on the Internet. I like looking at pretty things and making some of my own.” He currently spends time between Rochester and New York and has previously created black & white collages as well. His latest series, titled Futur Couture was produced through Photoshop experiments and is described as “hauntingly beautiful” by the artist himself.
